A very big update and a lot of changes

Hello everyone!

A lot has changed in the project. I received a lot of feedback, and I also noticed many things myself. As I started implementing improvements, it suddenly turned out that the game became much bigger, more complex, and, I hope, more interesting :D

So, what exactly has changed? Here’s what:

  • Improved graphics – this is immediately noticeable. New illustrations have appeared, and there are more of them. The user interface has been improved; simple frames are now more interesting and slightly more atmospheric. I also added icons to the cards, which give you a better idea of what to expect in a given event.
  • Companion system – yes, from now on, you can gather companions around you! Some you’ll meet by chance, others will appear as the campaign progresses (more on that in a moment). Each of them can help you in their own way. Oh, and one of them is a dog!
  • Campaign – the game now has a campaign system. Currently, there is only one, but everything has been set up in such a way that in the future, additional campaigns can be added – either running simultaneously or as an option for you to choose from. For now, besides exploring the ruins, you’ll be faced with a series of tasks, choices, and decisions, adding a new dimension to your journey.
  • Many more cards – a lot of new cards have been added. Some work similarly to the previous ones, but there are also those that introduce entirely new mechanics. You can find places where you can rest, restore your strength, and learn something new. You may also encounter many unexpected dangers, which now can (but don’t always have to) pop up suddenly around the corner. You’ll also face new, often ambiguous choices.
  • New features – I’ve added some new features to diversify the gameplay. Some are related to the companions or the campaign, but there are others as well. For example, now, if you want and have enough knowledge, you can dismantle found weapons and armor. Even if you don’t intend to use them, they might still come in handy! There are also new healing options, merchant caravans offer a wider selection of goods, and settlements need your help with new problems.

I hope these changes make the game even more enjoyable for you, which will allow me to continue developing it further. If you’d like to add something or share your thoughts, I encourage you to leave a comment under the game. It’s very important to me because, after all, I make games for the players :)

Greetings and all the best!
