We are rats circling the ruins of great civilizations. All we have are our songs and the dream that they will not fade away too soon.

Step into the dangerous darkness that fills the tangled chaos of the remains of long-gone civilizations. The maze of hundreds of starships and space stations is today home to the descendants of those who survived the disaster. Today they live in this Wreckland floating in space and try to sing their own song that will not disappear in the darkness.


I would like to develop this idea further. The current version available here is the beginning of this path and is intended to check your feedback. So feel free to comment ;)


HOW TO PLAY:

1. Your character has three main statistics - Body, Mind and Spirit. They describe your character's capabilities. They are used during various types of events and meetings. Depending on their level, such events can have different effects.

2. Each day of your trip you receive a random amount of Action Points (AP). To move on, you must use all the points available that day. Sometimes it will be useful, sometimes not so much.

3. Armor and weapon values are used during combat. At its beginning, the opponent's Attack value is reduced by the value of your armor. Then, with each attack you take as much damage as the opponent's remaining Attack value. In turn, the enemy takes as much damage as your weapon value.

4. If you manage to collect enough money (1000), you will be able to return to the settlement and finish your journey safely.

Development plan for the near future:

  • Adding story missions - I plan for some events and encounters to be connected with a longer, choice-based story. I'm going to add this mechanic that will allow you to build missions with short additional tasks.
  • More events, encounters, finds and enemies
  • Story campaign mechanics - I want some of the events to be related to multi-stage stories that will act as the main story campaigns in the game.

I love the vibes and style put into this. The gameplay is simple and quick and generally works but I think some deeper structure to balance out the randomness would help, plus some UI changes. Make it clear that when you take armor/weapons it replaces what you have. Also maybe add something that makes it clear what outcomes events could possibly have? I haven't run into anything that heals me...or am I supposed to heal myself somehow?? but I just kept eventually dying because even with good armor and weapon 10 health is not a lot. Cool idea though and I love the look, definitely could grow into something really good!

This is a beautiful, well-thought-out game. I have absolutely loved navigating the gameplay, and the turn-based style. There are a lot of moving parts here! The style of it is very nice and clean as well. I can tell a lot of passion was put into this! Keep up the great work!
